27th – 29th October 2017, The University of Kent

At Home with Horror is a conference at The University of Kent that seeks to engage with horror on the small screen and reflect specifically upon developments in the genre and medium. The conference hopes to ask questions and illuminate key areas of aesthetics, serialisation and industrial practices in relation to TV horror history and contemporary output.

Thank you to all who have submitted an abstract. Due to the overwhelming response we have decided to extend the conference to a third day. The conference will now run between Friday 27th – Sunday 29th October.

At Home with Horror is organised as part of the Melodrama Research Group (https://blogs.kent.ac.uk/melodramaresearchgroup/) and supported by the Centre for Film and Media Research (https://www.kent.ac.uk/arts/research/centres/filmcentre/) at the University of Kent.

Organisers: Katerina Flint-Nicol and Ann-Marie Fleming.
